Caelin Nadin is a Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT) who specializes treating anxiety, depression, PTSD and chronic pain.  Caelin practices as a biofeedback / self-regulation specialist in a collaborative team at True North Psychological Services in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Caelin is also certified as a Trauma Informed Yoga Therapist (TIYT) and is registered with the Professional Association for Naturopaths and Naturotherapists (APNN).

Caelin first came to yoga in search of relief from symptoms of severe anxiety.  After having found such a profound effect from the practice, she has made it her life’s purpose to assist others in finding relief through yoga and mindfulness practices.  Caelin has offered the ‘Overcome Anxiety Clinic  in Yoga studios, High schools, various health care and corporate settings, as well as PTSD support groups.

Caelin is registered with Yoga Alliance as E-RYT 500 and is a graduate of the 1000 hr Professional Yoga Therapy program from Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT).  Caelin completed her IYT internship with Genevieve Yellin of Sundara Yoga Therapy and Andrea Cook at Waldegrove Psychological Services. She holds certifications as a LifeForce Yoga Practitioner (LFYP-1), in Yoga for Anxiety and Depression,  Radiant child Yoga (lvl 2) to name a few. Caelin has also studied at The Institute for Somatic Research and Training in Novato, CA., where she was certified in Somatic Movement Training with Eleanor Criswell Hanna. Caelin’s educational background includes undergraduate studies in Psychology at Saint Marys University in Halifax, NS and continued studies at Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax, NS.

Caelin is Faculty and Canadian Director of TIYT, currently coordinating trainings in TIYT throughout Canada.  She has co-created Yoga therapy trainings and sits on the Yoga therapy advisory board for research being conducted on the TIYT protocol, in collaboration with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
