Elaine is a Certified Career Development Professional with the Nova Scotia Career Development Association, and a Registered Resume Strategist with the Career Professionals of Canada. She has 25+ years of creating and delivering career services across the country.
As a military/veteran spouse and a mother of two adult sons currently serving in the Canadian Forces, she is aware of the issues of career transition faced by members, spouses, and young adult dependents. Elaine created the Employment Spousal Network pilot program at the Esquimalt Military Family Resource Centre, assisting military spouses to find employment in the local labour market. This program went national, and all MFRC’s offer spousal employment services.
Elaine is honoured to develop the career development curriculum for the Workforce Reintegration Program for Landing Strong. She engaged another career colleague, Karen Kirk, CCDP to assist with professional editing, research skills, and creativity producing an interactive program based upon proven adult education principles.
When not working, you will find Elaine at the lake kayaking, hiking, and enjoying time with family and friends.
