Emily is a counselling psychology graduate student from Yorkville University.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Youth Care and is a certified Level 3 Early Childhood Educator. Emily has spent the last four years working at a developmental centre with children with diverse needs. She has a passion for helping children and families overcome life’s challenges and uses a trauma-informed care approach. She also has experience working with addictions, serving as a support group facilitator for individuals with loved ones struggling with alcoholism and substance abuse.
More recently Emily has started integrating her approach with Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive Affective Therapy to help children, adolescents and adults develop the skills they need to grow and thrive.
