Savannah is currently completing her Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. In 2018, she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary’s University; majoring in Psychology (Hons.) and minoring in Criminology. Savannah’s research interests have included studying the effects of pre-trial publicity on juror verdicts and how that could influence the jurors’ overall opinion of the accused.
Savannah has a passion for nature and staying active. She spends her free time going on long walks, playing basketball with her peers, and kayaking on some of the beautiful lakes that Nova Scotia provides.
Savannah has a profound interest in trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, grief, and general mental health counselling. She is eager to broaden her knowledge and experience with youth, adults, and families. She brings enthusiasm, warmth, empathy, and a strong desire to help others.
