Julian joined the board on Landing Strong in 2020. He is a Partner and owner of Fire Inside
Leadership and has supported the successful transformation of people, teams, boards, and
organizations in public, private, and non-profit sectors for over 25 years.

In 2015, Julian left the provincial government after 20 years of public service. During his public
service career, Julian worked in Emergency Health Services, trauma care, and Public Health. He
holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Dalhousie University and has a BA in
Sociology and a Certificate of Criminology from St. Mary’s University. Julian is a Certified
Professional Co-Active Coach, Certified Team Performance Coach, and Organizational
Relationships Systems Coach.

Julian is a former RCMP Auxiliary Constable and former EHS First Responder. He is passionate
about mental health and was the co-recipient of the Mental Health Foundation’s 2020 Partners
in Our Vision Award.
