Patricia MacDonald received her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from McGill University with work experience in counselling, crisis intervention, career and vocational counselling, and psychometric assessment administration and interpretation.

Patricia MacDonald is a registered psychologist with a Master’s from McGill University. Patricia works primarily in private practice with adults and adolescents specializing in treatment and assessment with the veteran, military, and first responder population. She also has clinical interests and experience in the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, trauma (sexual, emotional, physical, development), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and adult children of alcoholics (ACOA). She has received specialized training in best practices for working with this population in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Patricia is also part of the clinical team with the Veterans Transition Network.

In working with individuals and groups, Patricia values a collaborative approach built on openness and trust. Establishing a secure and stable environment is important to her.
