Summit Your Mountain
Join our Physical Virtual Training Program this winter!
Remember, training begins from exactly where you are today.
Personalized Path Through Growth and Recovery
We are excited to offer a new physical virtual training program focused on providing individual support for anyone looking to set physical health and wellness goals this winter. We are inviting anyone who is interested to reach out and get set up for the New Year. This program begins with a one-on-one session with a member of the Landing Strong team who will help you develop a path towards a healthier, more vibrant version of yourself.
The program runs from right now to the end of March 2026.
No matter your background or your starting point, you’ll find a respectful, judgment-free community designed to help you grow at your own pace.
If you are interested in being a part of this program or interested in joining, we would love to hear from you! Send a quick email to info@landingstrong.com to set-up your goal-setting session. As physical health is such an important component of recovery, there is no cost to participate in this program.
What Is Your Why?
If you are considering joining our program, it is helpful to pause and ask yourself:
– What is my why?
– What draws you toward this journey?
– What goals are just beneath the surface, waiting to be realized?
Healing isn’t about comparing mountains or even climbing them. It’s about taking the next step on your own path, designed just for you to meet your own why.
Growing Together
Though our program is virtually based, at its heart is community. For some, training independently at home may feel right, but others may like to connect in person from time to time. Throughout this 4 month program, Landing Strong will host a number of in-person activities (i.e., indoor walking track) to provide the opportunity for in-person connection.
Together, we strengthen one another and take meaningful steps toward healing.
Goal Setting
There is no mountain required to join—only the willingness to start. Wherever you are, whatever you are carrying, you are welcome here. We have created a goal-setting tool to help assist in developing your personal path to physical health and wellness. Anyone who is interested is welcome to use this goal setting tool as a guide to help you get started on your own journey.
Sharing Your Success
As part of this virtual training community (for those who are interested) there is an opportunity to share your progress along the way. We will be sharing quotes, photos and inspiration on our social media to reflect each step you take towards meeting your goal.
This is a fun and optional way to share your progress this winter with our Landing Strong community. It is also a fun way to increase motivation and build a sense of community amongst others who have also made their physical health a priority in 2026.
Meet the Team
Meet Sonia
Sonia is a Candidate Registered Psychologist who recognizes the interconnectedness of physical and mental well-being. She uses daily movement, most often in the forms of walking and running, as part of her own self-care and healthy lifestyle.
Sonia currently volunteers with a dog sport group in the HRM, Halifax Harness Hounds, where she helps others learn how to safely run with their dogs.
Meet Jen
Jen is a lifelong hiker and certified yoga teacher who loves helping people connect with movement, nature, and each other. Whether on the trail, track or yoga mat, Jen is all about moving mindfully, exploring new paths, and creating a welcoming space for everyone. “I’m excited to be a part of this program’s dedicated walking group and look forward to sharing goals, great conversations and moving together!”
Meet Belinda
Dr. Belinda Seagram, Clinical Psychologist and Founder of Landing Strong, has long believed in the powerful link between physical health and mental resilience. From her early work as a wilderness therapist in Algonquin Park to leading leadership-development expeditions in East Africa, she has witnessed how movement, challenge, and shared purpose can fundamentally shift how people see themselves. What matters most isn’t the destination but the way physical effort expands our inner capacity, reminding us that strength grows when we dare to push our edges. Today, she brings this philosophy into her clinical work, helping people reconnect with their bodies as a pathway to restoring confidence, capability, and overall well-being.
She looks forward to summitting Mount Kilimanjaro for the fourth time this March, accompanied by our Landing Strong Expedition Team.
Meet Joe
Joe Seagram, Head of King’s-Edgehill School, brings together a lifelong passion for education, outdoor adventure, and the growth that happens when people challenge themselves in meaningful ways. With a background in Outdoor Pursuits and Education, and as a former Canadian Outward Bound instructor and Alaskan river guide, Joe has spent more than forty years nurturing resilience, leadership, and character in young people. He is currently preparing for his ninth expedition guiding students up Mount Kilimanjaro, a journey he views as much about inner strength as physical achievement. At Landing Strong, Joe leads our creative writing workshops and serves as Expedition Lead for the Tanzania program, blending reflection, physical challenge, and service. Driven by the belief that adventure builds both health and confidence, Joe continues to inspire others to stretch their limits and discover what they’re truly capable of.
