Terry holds a BA in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University (2021) and has recently completed his graduate studies in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University (2023).  He is a registered student member of the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists.

Terry is a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, serving proudly for 13 years in roles with both the Army and Navy. Having Deployed to Afghanistan as part of the Provincial Rebuild Team (PTR) in 2008, Terry understands the struggles of transition faced by many veterans post-deployment.

Terry is dedicated to partnering with clients to help them overcome obstacles they may be facing in life.  For the past 7 years, he has served in a volunteer capacity with the Veterans Transition Network,  assisting veterans and first responders who are struggling with the difficult task of moving forward following trauma exposure. His practice is client-centered and grounded in modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
