Tina Boyd (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker and Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University, completing her practicum with Landing Strong/Seagram & Associates. She brings almost 20 years of social work experience in areas of hospice and palliative care, primary and community health care, and rehabilitation.
Tina has supported individuals and families through grief and bereavement, caregiving, chronic illness, anxiety, trauma, and significant life transitions. She also facilitates bereavement groups and is trained in Grief Yoga® and Hatha yoga, which have shaped her interest in mindfulness, movement, and the connection between the mind and body.
Tina’s approach is person-centred, relational, and trauma-informed. She draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, gentle movement, and grounding strategies. She values the role of connection and community in healing and believes people should not have to navigate difficult experiences alone. Tina aims to create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe, heard, and able to move at their own pace.
